ShipClash (“we”, “us”) is a product voting arena at shipclash.app. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Account details — when you sign in with Google or email: email address and display name.
• Gameplay — clash votes, scores, streaks, product listings, comments, and related activity.
• Device / visitor data — a random visitor ID and similar data stored in your browser (localStorage) so guest progress can work before you sign in.
• Payments — if you buy a featured listing, payment is handled by our payment provider; we receive confirmation and plan details, not your full card number.
• Technical logs — standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) for security and reliability.

How we use information

• Run the arena: matchups, rankings, listings, and comments.
• Authenticate you and save your progress across devices when signed in.
• Process featured product purchases and related support.
• Prevent abuse, debug issues, and improve the product.

Sign-in providers

Google sign-in is provided by Google. When you use it, Google shares basic profile information (such as email and name) with us under Google’s terms and your Google account settings. Email magic links are sent to the address you provide so you can sign in.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with infrastructure and service providers that help us operate ShipClash (hosting, email delivery, payments), and when required by law.

Retention

We keep account and gameplay data while your account is active and as needed to operate the service. You can ask us to delete your account data by emailing the contact below.

Your choices

• Clear site data in your browser to remove guest progress stored locally.
• Sign out from ShipClash at any time.
• Request access or deletion of your account information by contacting us.

Children

ShipClash is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
